Friday, July 7 8am- kiwi time (Thursday, July 6 3pm Bostoian time): dropped at Palmerston North airport. Plane leaves Palmy- 10am. 10:15 am- bloody marry. Plane arrives Aukland 11:15 am. Bus into town until 5pm, then back to Aukland international airport. Plane departs Aukland 7:15pm. 7:30, 8:15, 8:30, 9pm- bloody marries while watching in-flight movies on personal screen/ personal dvd selection. Eat a decent airline dinner, watch a few flicks and sleep- no specific order or time frame. Arrive in LAX 10:30am (pacific time). Savor post 9/11 US Customs. Head to In and Out burger (of course) for a yummy snack. 12-7:30pm- Head to Starbuck for free wireless and a good cup a jo. Head back to LAX and watch a dvd on laptop until 9pm. Flight departs LAX at 9:55pm. 10:15, 10:45 (bet you can't guess!).... again, sporadic sleep and a bit of quality reading from the "gosh, continental airline sure is cool" free literature. Arrive in Newark, NJ (the true motherland of USA) 6:15am (eastern time). One last plane to good ol' Manchester NH (NO MORE MARRIES!) at 9:45am Saturday, July 7- Bostonian time (12:45am, July 8 Kiwi time). 30+ hours of airports. Hey.... you should ALL come and visit me!
