Ok, so in less than a week I'll be back in the States. I will have had at LEAST one In and Out burger, will have been playing on good Californian granite, will have had proper 4th of July BBQ and close to having my first REAL sauna in almost a year. Am I freakin out??? Hells yeah!

So.. all is well in the life of Matt Natti. Although I have no MAJOR news, it's good to just let y'all know I'm still alive! I still have a girlfriend... which is going GREAT. In my last mention of her we were in a not-so-serious relationship..... now it is a bit more. Neither of us are really sure what will happen come November, when she has to head back to California (oh, SO. Cal.... not Northern Cal. Apparently Californians get a bit touchy about what part of the state their from. I guess she was also a bit miffed that as her BOYFRIEND I got it wrong! Ah well.). Until then, we are both REALLY enjoying each others company.
My flatmate Claydon and I are getting real exited about the trip to good old New England. I will admit, being a "tour guide" means I may not get quite as much time with all the friends and family but I probably WILL be getting a lot more climbing in while I'm back, which on a purely selfish level isn't all that bad. That being said... we are planning a bit of tree work here and there and will obviously need SOME rest days, so I hope to catch up with as many people as possible while I'm back.
Besides that, all is well in NZ. I have use of a NEW company van since the old one finally blew up due to old age and MABEY one too many road trips around the North Island! The boss, thankfully, was very cool about the whole deal and said that a van is part of my contract so it's only fair that he replace the old one..... not too shabby!
So that's me. I can't wait to see the crew in a few weeks! Miss you all and hope you are all living life to the fullest!
