Life is an adventure: MNatti in NZ

Hi. My name is Matt Natti.... and it has been over a month since my last post. To be honest, despite the fact that I am STILL in New Zealand, there hasn't been anything all that exiting going on to post about. Let's see, I've been climbing EVERY weekend. I've been doing LOTS of treework (and managing to keep all extremeties in tact!). I'm still the MUAC wall officer and therefore have been helping lots of people formulate an addiction to rocks. I have also been involved with the possible revamping of the MUAC wall/ merger with City Rock (the town's dismal, commercial climbing gym). This is actually a fairly cool project to be involved with as that it will benifit both parties involved... and I gain a better climbing facility as well!
On the less mudane news.... I am dating again. I would ALMOST say I have a lady friend.... but I refuse to get that technical yet! She is a very nice uni gal I met at the wall, who loves climbing (duh), hiking, camping and basically just getting out and exploring the world. I have to say... it is nice to be "back in the game".... though I also still enjoy the WILD bachelor side of life as well.
On a completely different note.... I have FINALLY joined the ranks of being a TRUE kiwi...... I have killed my first possum!!! Do to traffic and the size of the caravan of climbers we were travelling with this weekend, we were unable to stop and take a picture.... but just outside Turangi, travelling 80km/ hour, I saw an unsuspecting possum in the road and although I had to cross the solid yellow line.... I was able to properly "bake my own possum Road Pizza!"

Sad but true.... that's the news.
