Not much in the way of exiting news to post.... but life is good. I have purchased my tickets back to the States for my annual summer visit, though so far JUST the Kiwi to LAX portion! Claydon, my flatmate/ climbing partner/ work assosiate/ hetero-sexual life partner will be joining me this year.... as that he is sick to death about hearing how COOL my family, friends and the New England climbing scene are.
We arive (for his benifit) in LA on July 4th!!!! We plan to stay a few days in LA with a few mates and do a wee bit of west coast climbing. The plan is to get into Boston on that Saturday (hopefully with just enough time to catch a sauna, but DEFINITELY enough time to go out for a good feed with my little bro, Eli, on his birthday). We'll prob stick around the North Shore for a week or 2, head down to see my sister (from there we will DEFINITELY head to NY for a day or 2 at the Gunks), then it is up to NH for as much climbing in as many cool spots as possible.... right up to Holmes Safari (the Greatest Party in the Universe as that it celebrates my buddy Nick Steglich's birthday) on the final weekend of July.
After that, Claydon heads home and I zip out to visit me mum for a few days. I know, for a fact, that she will kick my @$$ if I don't come to visist. Besides, I still haven't gotten to see Chicago... so I figure it is something I probably aught to do.
